李鹏先生出生于魔术师家，母亲杨新英是中国著名的魔术大师，国家一级演员。他十八岁加入天津市杂技团，成为一名专业的魔术师。此后随天津杂技团经常出现在全国各地的舞台上，受到国内魔术界的好评，并得到了亿万观众的欢迎。
1988 年，李鹏先生随团出访日本，受到了日本观众的高度赞许。并在96年参加了中央电视台春节晚会，是中国的十亿观众欣赏到了他的变幻莫测的魔术表演。92年， 李鹏先生参加了全国在新疆举办的全国杂技比赛，以魔术“神烛”荣获特别奖。97年，李鹏先生参加了“魔术奇观”比赛，在比赛中以最佳成绩脱颖而出，被中国 魔术界誉为“魔术新星”。99年，李鹏先生应美国IBM国际魔术协会的邀请，参加在美国阿肯色州小石城举办的第七十一届魔术年会，在年会上和世界魔术大师 进行魔术交流，李鹏先生在自身的魔术表演上还融入了变脸的艺术，在极短的瞬间变幻出不同的各色脸谱，使表演加大难度，被世界各国魔术师给与高度评价。
最近，李鹏先生经常出现在纽约及中国社区演出，不仅是美国的华人欣赏到了精彩的表演，还给美国观众留下了深刻的印象，让美国的观众了解到了中国魔术家的才华。

Mr. Li was born into a family of magicians. His mother is one of China's well know and famors master magicians. At 18 years old, Mr Li joined the aerobatic troop of Tianjin and became a professional magician. He toured with the troop all over the country and earned the farorable recognition of the magic community circle.

In 1988, he visited Japan and received the praise and recognition of the Japanese audiences with his thrilling magicial arts. In 1992, Mr.Li took part in a national aerobatics competition, where he won a special prize for hes "God's Candle" act. He was dubbed the new "Star of Magic" by the cbinese magic circle. In 1996, he took part in the Spring Festival sponsored by CCTV station. Over 1 billion people enjoyed hes special magic show.
Mr.Li expanded his recognition to the United States. at the invitation of IBM to the internation associatgion of magic. He performed at the 71st session held in Celardo ,Florida. He was given high praise by other magician. For his magic performance of different colored masks which is one of his more difficult performances.
Mr.Li is currently living in New York and performs of New York and New Jersey Communities as well as wedding parties. He is honored to perform for American audiences and bring his unique Chinese talent as a magician to the United States.
Face changing
The Face Changing, or"Bian Lian" in Chinese, is an important cultural aspect of Chinese Sichuan Opera.It is also considered to be one of the most treasured Chinese dramatic arts. Face-changing oringinated 300years ago,during the reign of the Qing Dynasty Emperor Qianlong.It was first used in a story about a hero who stole from the rich to help the poor.When he was being pursued by feudal officials,he changed his face to disguise himself and escaped.In the beginning ,opera masters changed the color of their face during performances by blowing into a bowl of red,black or gold powder.The powder would adhere to their oiled skin quickly.Nowadays,the masters use different techniques but we will not give out their secrets to spoil your suprise.
